The fastest way to load plugins, presets, and racks in Ableton Live. Ablecut gives you a 24-slot launcher you can fill with your most-used devices — instruments, effects, racks, or presets — and fire them onto any track with a single keypress. Compatible with macOS and Windows. INSTALLATION 1. Unzip the download. 2. In Ableton Live, open the browser and navigate to User Library. 3. Drag ablecut.amxd into your User Library folder. This ensures it always appears in Live's search results. 4. Drag Ablecut from the User Library onto any MIDI track to use it. ASSIGNING DEVICES TO SLOTS 1. Select a track that has the device you want to save. 2. Click the A button on any empty slot — Ablecut saves that device to the slot and labels it automatically. 3. Click the slot number to load that device onto the currently selected track. MAPPING SLOTS TO KEYBOARD KEYS 1. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to enter Key Map mode in Ableton. 2. Click the M button on the slot you want to map. 3. Press the keyboard key you want to assign to that slot. 4. Press Cmd+K / Ctrl+K again to exit Key Map mode. 5. That key will now load the assigned device onto your selected track instantly. SAVING TO YOUR DEFAULT TEMPLATE To have Ablecut load automatically in every new project: 1. Set up Ablecut on a MIDI track with your slots assigned and keys mapped. 2. Go to File > Save Live Set as Default Set. 3. Ablecut will now open with all your assignments every time you start a new project. Single-user license. Do not redistribute.

Map: Press Cmd+K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows), click the M button on a slot, then press the key you want. That key now loads the device onto your selected track — no clicks needed.
